Back on the road again!

I finally felt well enough to run today! YAY!

The new Mizuno Wave Alchemys are a DREAM! I was skeptical going to a size 8.5 versus my usual size 8, but after 2 blackened toenails, I can now see how the extra 1/2 size is going to be sooooo comfy during my long runs!

I did 4.25 miles at tempo pace and it felt great. I meant to do an easy run but I realized I would be very late picking M up from gymnastics if I didn't pick up the pace. LOL.

I have no idea what my heartbeat was. I'm guessing it was a bit higher than it usually is, since I haven't laced up the shoes for 2 weeks now, but it was a good run and for now, that's all that matters! :-)
