First day without a heat advisory!
As the temperature got up to about 50C humidex, it occurred to me that six months ago, it was -50C windchill. LOL. How's that for a range in temperatures? Give me warmth anyday.
Today is the first day without a heat advisory in about 2.5 weeks. It does look shortlived, however. It's supposed to be hot again this weekend. But if it stays "cool" (i.e. 27C) tomorrow, I'm gonna run OUTSIDE tomorrow! Whoo-hoo!
I did my long slow run on the treadmill yesterday, 8 miles. My left quad is bothering me again. I had to stop at about 3.5 miles to stretch it out. I guess running out in heat would have helped that. LOL.
I got the most beautiful pictures of my new "nephew". He's got the most squishiest cheeks. I think in the european culture, I would be his "first cousin once removed". But in my culture, I am his auntie. And since this is the only way I will become an auntie, I will take it :-)

what's up with your leg? Hope you can work it out. Man y'all are gettin hit with heat. I was feeling worked this morning running in humid 75 degree temps! I can't believe the weather extremes you deal with!
